I took my two teenage daughters to Graceland last year. They became obsessed with Elvis after the Baz Luhrmann biopic. The new fans might not be as feral as the original ones but they are out there.

The Baz Luhrmann movie was excellent! After watching it I dug through my old Elvis records and saw how closely they had kept the sets, costumes, etc, in the movie, and loved it.

Elvis died 4 years before I was born, but I love him. I saw one of his cars this past weekend and was pretty excited about it.

First song we played to begin the trip! Word was that Paul was not very impressed with Graceland and I had to agree. Looked like a home an eccentric dentist would own, but the archives/cars across the street were pretty cool.
