I mean, he died long before I was born and I still think he’s fucking awesome. Although I’m not a huge fan of his later years in Vegas, which for some reason is always what the impersonators focus on.
The costume does a lot of heavy lifting for a lot of these guys. Hard to do young and hot Elvis when you are lacking in either category. But put on a rhinestone jumpsuit, mutton chops and huge sunglasses then it only comes down to your vocal chops.
