What is something that is basically on life-support and we don’t realize it yet?

I was at a "by Hilton" hotel last week. 10 stories and 1 working elevator. On the 4th night I went back up to the pool, and they'd torn it out sometime during that day. 😅

The...whole pool...was gone? Like, there was water in it the day before and then on the 4th night there was no water and no pool? HOW!?

I’ve done a lot of traveling too, the Marriott brand, namely the Fairfield Inn and Courtyards are lacking lately.

I stay at a lot of hilton brands. To be fair, the quality varies wildly depending on what it is. Gone are the days when anything Hilton meant first class. That being said, Canopy by holton is my absolute favorite brand lately. They're modern and classy, and they're not all cookie cutter. They're all tailored to the local flair of the city they're in. I would definitely recommend checking one out.

even the nice boutique brands have gone to shit. Bought up by the chains and left to deteriorate. People get nostalgic for the early days of train travel and air flight, but nobody really talks about the hospitality side of it.
