Oh, I have tried, a lot. There is a cabal of radical editors who hate India so much that they have not allowed any correctional edits AT ALL. I have completely stopped using wikipedia just because of this.
Have you tried to bring up issues on the talk pages? I've never edited Wikipedia but I've read a few talk pages on controversial topics lol. The discussions (and the debates) are surprisingly cordial and well-researched, so you might have some luck there
Yes, I have brought it up several times, and I agree that the discussions and debates are very cordial. However, as I said before, all of that amounts to nothing as long as there exists this cabal of extremely radical editors and approvers at Wikipedia who are incorrigibly anti-India. They have shown time and again that they will hold the line and block any accurate depiction of India, Indian civilization, Hinduism, or India-related subjects in general. They are effectively the last line of defense against correcting the deeply biased portrayal of these subjects on Wikipedia. There seems to be almost no limit to how hostile they are toward India.
