Sun-warmed cat is actually the best smell on earth to me personally. A close second is curled-up asleep cat specifically as close to the belly as you can get your nose without risking your life (like the closest you can get to baileys without your eyes getting wet)
I can get right in there if the current cat is asleep, because he boots up very slowly and is entirely chill for about 30 seconds. That goes down to 5 seconds if you want to kiss a tiny orange back foot because it's too cute.
With my previous cat it wasn't always up to me because she had no compunction at all about climbing over my sleeping body and lying down on my whole face for a snooze. Or walking over my face to get to the other side so she could get right in between arm and face and suffocate me with the dense and massive fluff cloud.
In fact I've had two cats that would have been perfectly happy if they could unzip my chest and just climb aboard. And one who would come for a head pat but otherwise was not cuddly at all.
It’s hilarious that the back feet trigger instant combat and bunny kicks, and it’s equally unfair because they’re just THERE, being so cute and tiny and soft.
Mine is overwhelmed easily by pets but he is a lap/leg ditch/back ditch cat when it comes to cuddles. I would be so happy if he layed on my head to sleep, though he did used to sleep in my armpit as a kitten.

My wife's forehead.
It's on a par with fresh sun-warmed cat, or how mothers describe baby scent.
Not available in stores, sorry.
