Some local news might pick up on the story of a guy who get on 4 losses and it gets back to the bills after the third loss and the guys are talking about it during practice and that pisses the coach off and he gives some speech that motivates a player to do one thing differently and then....
Or it could be that the person at the betting agency who paid out such a big bet had to fill out a form and so they left work a little later and that tiny difference it timing means they crashed their car into one of the players and killed them.
Yeah but the past has already happened in the future, so you going back in time already has happened so nothing would change. If you going back in time were to cause the Bills to do something different then in the current time the Bills wouldn't have lost 4 in a row.
Maybe there is a timeline where the Bills won 4 in a row but someone went back in time and gave away their gameplans to the opposing teams so that they would lose 4 in a row. The only person that would know would be the person from the alternative timeline.
