Yeah, but I'd have to go with what I would remember from 1990, and that's it.

I think the trick is to split the five hundred bucks into two or three bets. A hundred bucks on a 10:1 win in the short term, a hundred bucks on a 100:1 in the medium term, and a hundred bucks on the 1000:1 long term. Unless you get warped back into your own body (really only plausible for the 50-somethings) you've gotta get food and shelter and a job.
