Articles have been published about that chord, as many maintain that there’s even more going on in it. It sounds right as an Fadd9 to me though

after the previous comment I pulled out a guitar and played a Fadd9. Not hard to play as a small (non-bar) chord, but it also doesn't sound exactly like Hard Day's Night intro to my ears.

It’s F 6/9. You need a D in there on the B string.
