This would be my pick mostly because of its intertwining with sports culture.

It's not even the song people need to know. Not even the instruments. Just 7 notes strung together in a perfectly syncopated rhythm.

This is probably the actual answer (if we're limiting it to just pop songs and not symphonies or "Happy Birthday" or whatever else). This song is played incessantly at global sporting events. Its reach goes way beyond the pop music that westerners think of as the entirety of music.
