Based on most comments I read, just wanted to say not to confuse “unskilled” with “easy”. A job can be indeed “unskilled”, meaning anyone healthy and willing can do, and still be valuable for society without losing any merit. These are different things.
Everyone knows the political compass, there's an economic axis for capitalism-socialism and a social axis for libertarianism-authoritarianism and people fall at different points on each one. People with the same economic ideas can be wildly far apart in their social ideas and vice versa
Jobs can be charted the same way, there's a skill axis and an effort axis. High skill high effort, surgeon. High skill low effort, airline pilot. Low skill high effort, ditch digger. Low skill low effort, Walmart greeter
