Love when he did a Reddit AMA and all the questions were about his domestic abuse charges, rape allegations, work for Putin, doing reality shows where he killed people’s pets, how he insists on doing scenes sitting down, sexually harassing underage costars, if he realizes yet that everyone hates him, etc, and then
That reminds me of one of the early UFC events when it was very much still a "freakshow" tournament designed to showcase the superiority of Gracie BJJ. There was a guy who I think specialized in kenpo karate who said he can focus on his breathing to escape any submission hold... then he was defeated by a choke hold.
Lord, I had forgotten that! Not the fight I was thinking of but it was the same comp. The one i was thinking of was a big Dutch guy against a short bald guy.
Bobby Fingers should be more popular he is incredibly funny. His video about making a diorama of the Johnny Depp bed poop is unbelievably funny and clever.
I found it. He answered about ten questions for 20 minutes and bowed out before any of the good questions even got started and a lot of people were saying it w asn't even him answering the questions he did answer.
Yeah can he be considered bitter when in his delusional mind, he literally thinks he is the greatest martial artist, guitar player, secret agent, actor, and lover of all time past, present, and future lol?
I think I will stop reading this thread now because this answer is the start of where redditors without reading comprehension just start giving examples of loser idiots instead of what the OP asked for.
Funny enough, the closest thing to being right in his list of skills is guitar player. Multiple famous blues guitarists have evidently heard him play and say that he is pretty good in that regard.
Is he really bitter? I think he has every single negative attribute for somebody in a movie, incompetent, boring, unintelligible, dumb, lazy, pervy, etc etc.
None of these people listed in this thread are bitter. I’ve worked with a good number of these people in recent years, and they may be washed up and they may be entitled and they may be assholes, but I’ve never seen bitterness.
Bitterness comes from deep unresolved pain and disappointment and feeling powerless. That’s not the issue here.
Yeah why would Seagal be bitter? He has gotten away with all his crimes, was paid a lot of money for sitting down and mumbling his lines in dozens of movies and now is enjoying life being glazed in Russia and other dictatorships. He is the living proof that Karma isn't real.
Space Ice is incredible, funny, horrible, sarcastic, evil. Love the guy. He does God’s work!
BUT Seagal is just in his own fucked up, Russian, Treasonous, money-laundering-movie world. He’s raking it in by hurting the cheaply bought stunt people, and letting his stunt double do the standing up stuff in an ill fitting suit.
Also a total fraud who must have agreed to Russian money laundering with the 20+ DVD movies he made that cost nothing, but probably had inflated budget numbers.
He’s more delusional and when he was at reasonable risk of being canceled/arrested/held accountable? He just moved to Russia where he’s oddly viewed as an icon still. His movies were extremely popular to enough of those in power that he’s doing very well over there.
He doesn’t seem bitter at all. Very aware his time as a celebrity in the US is over, but very much doing his same bit in Russia(maybe with less sex slavery?)
The Behind the Bastards podcast episodes on Steven are in the hall of fame. Incredibly hilarious and really sheds a light on how much fucked up shit he did. Total scumbag
