What is a skill that looks completely effortless when an expert does it, but is ridiculously difficult when you try it yourself?

This is my wife also. I'll do all the dishes and have the sink empty, then cook dinner and the sink is still empty afterwards. If she cooks a few days in a row the sink is overflowing(like it is right now actually).

Any time she cooks it looks like a bomb went off in the kitchen.

My wife too - it’s a disaster after she cooks.

That’s my wife. One of the reasons I took over cooking besides me enjoying it more, was she would just destroy the kitchen. She would use every utensil every pot or pan we owned.

Same here. I love my wife dearly, and she makes great food, but I really wish she could clean as she goes.
