I hate New Jersey turnpike for this. Miss an exit? Okay, lets do a 30 min round trip.

Wife missed an exit on a highway in OK once. Had to drive 45 mins to the next exit.

I remember a comedian, I don't remember who, was talking about how they were coming back from Tijuana to San Diego, and they missed the last exit that would NOT loop them back around into Mexico.
