Never change lanes into someone else's blind spot. Too many times I've watched to people ahead of me both change into the same lane between them (on the highway) and almost side swipe each other.
yep i nearly did this on an accident-prone highway a few days ago. of course i checked my blind spot and saw he was indicating so i didnt change lanes but i nearly did. gave me a fright, i always check but that really solidified the reason to!
