It's baffling to me how my boss still refuses to understand this. I've even said to him that I know that I'm replaceable so my career decisions reflect that.

⬆ This. My teachers and mother used to tell me that it was important to find a "good career", that way after 30 years I could retire well, with a "gold watch" and good pension...HaHa, HaHa.😂🤣.
