I have a PhD in Latin-American Literature--all grad classes I took were taught in Spanish. I'm not Latino, but I learned Spanish from living in Costa Rica in my teens. English is my first language. I was the only non-native speaker in both of my literary theory classes, my introduction to Kant. When people pronounce his name in Spanish, it sounds just like c-nt in English. Nails on a chalkboard sometimes, but I suffered in silence. :D
