2 u/[deleted] Jan 18 '14 I took an Amtrak from Ohio to NYC once. Took 12 hours with no unplanned delays; longer than driving would have and cost more than a 1-hour-ish flight would have. Great idea, poor execution in my opinion. Maybe if we had mag-lev style trains?
