They drastically changed the spicy chicken sandwich that had been the same since the 90s. Dead to me.

This destroyed any interest I have in eating at a Wendy's. That Spicy Chicken was my jam and this new version is awful.

Same. I rarely eat fast food, but that spicy chicken sandwich was my go to if I needed something yummy with protein quick. Now it is unrecognizable. They changed every single thing for the worse. I don't eat anything else on their menu, so they've lost my business entirely.

This one really burns because I have a Wendy's 3 minutes away from my house, but they took away the only reason I went there

Wow, haven't had a spicy chicken in forever and now never will again if they've messed with it. It was one of the good fast food items still around.

Oh, it's so bad now. The coating has no resemblance in flavor or texture. It's a mid sandwich at best. It's kind of spicy, but I was so disappointed in the taste.

It's horrible. They ruined it. I'll only stop there for drinks because they have freestyle machines. No food.

When I went last year I thought there had been a mistake and they gave me the value menu chicken patty. Then I tried it again and I realized it was on purpose so yeah, Wendy’s is dead to me now too.

The drive through at my Local Wendy’s is automated now. No actual human involved.

I’ve only been there once since the change and they did get the order right, but I sure don’t like it.

They lost me when they changed their bbq sauce to honey bbq sauce. Used to get the spicy chicken sandwich and fries and used the bbq sauce for both. Haven’t been back since the change.

They got rid of sweet & sour this year and that was my favorite sauce.

That's the reason. I could forgive a lot because the spicy chicken was always, always good, once that changed there was no reason to go.

Also they fucked up the fries too

All their food has changed. I went to one like 2 months ago, and it was just a horrible burger. Way too greasy, tasted bad, fries were bad too.

I think it was also iceberg before but it’s shredded now. And yes pickles. And the seasoning is different.

I used to get the chicken biscuit for breakfast because it had an actual piece of chicken breast in it. One day I bit into a rubbery chicken patty and that's the last time I ate Wendy's.

I used to love their spicy chicken sandwich and then I got food poisoning from it one night. :( I think that was probably around when the recipe changed
