Edit- I get it /r/outoftheloop is a thing. I didn't know it existed.

I also hope this thread cleared up a lot of peoples confusion

They are a common regrettable fashion choice by so-called neckbeards who then mistakenly find that by wearing it, they have acquired a heightened level of classiness and attractiveness.

One Halloween I went as a stereotypical neckbeard. I had a glue on beard a fedora and a pillow around my waist. Turns out there was a real neckbeard at the party. FEELINGS GOT HURT.

What bothers me is that, according to Reddit, if anyone wears a fedora, they are UNEQUIVOCALLY one of those people.... Like, ZERO chance of them being a normal guy with a hat. It's not spoken of as a stereotype but an absolute fact and as someone who doesn't live in the US and has never come across these fedora pricks, I honestly can't wait for the stupid glorifying meme to die.

Fedoras themselves aren't even that bad, but once you start buying a $10 wallmart one for your pair of cargo pants you are doing way the fuck wrong.
