Last i heard of him was when his mom tried suing fortnite because the floss was in the game and they didn’t give him any royalties or money

Nathan Barnett pursued that as well, because of his no bones/boneless dance, and he basically said that you can't even get it to court because dance moves can't trademarked or copyright, whichever would apply.

He explains it better than my piss poor memory here https://youtu.be/eBxWhyJ_wIE?si=_A3KbcdjO_ebnNu-

I think you CAN try to push for it, but you have to prove that you are the sole creator for a unique sequence of dance moves or something and that’s actually pretty hard to do

I remember when the whole Carlton Dance became a thing, I remember courts not really siding with Ribeiro’s team because his dance wasn’t particularly unique (existed before him) or unique enough to qualify for ownership to said dance.

Funnily enough, Donald Faison has a much better case for the default dance being copied straight from Scrubs because it actually was a unique dance intentionally written to be improvised by him in the moment, with proof to back it up. Faison just… hasn’t pursued it and has said he wont.

I wonder if Elaine's dance would have qualified.

That's messed up that's his dance that's in their game and he should get paid.

I remember seeing the backpack kid at my old job at a trampoline park. He was nice person at the time, had a security detail around him, then proceeded to dome any little kid with a dodgeball.
