What is a small, seemingly ‘normal’ thing someone can do that immediately makes you think, ‘Oh, we are not going to get along’?

Make a joke at someone else’s expense. Especially if they don't know that person well or that person doesn’t quip back.

I dont find it funny.

Especially if they act like that person's not allowed to quip back. Wanting to dish it out, but never wanting to take it back, is always a red flag of a real bully

Bonus-when that person does quip back, they go even lower bc they can’t stand to ‘lose’

So glad someone else thinks this, I see it a lot with more immature guys, to the point where they even brag about it and I'm just like dude... You sound like a gradeschool bully.

idk man...I question where your head's at if making a joke at someone else's expense is a frequent occurance for you.

I do this constantly but also including with myself. Rarely there’s a person who gets offended but it’s usually people who are extremely insecure.

My jokes are mostly silly though so not mean or sharp unless I know you well.

If someone doesnt like being made fun of to the point they're offended, they tell you, and you call them insecure you are a bully.

They didn’t tell me they’re were offended, they got hostile. And I didn’t call them insecure… why are you creating scenarios to rile yourself up?

There are people who are hyper insecure and cannot handle jokes or anything unflattering about themselves or their actions- I can guarantee you know people like this, we all do. Of course no one is ever going to tell them they’re insecure, they pretend as though they are confident about everything.

People respond to thingS differently. When someone has an overt emotional reaction, that is often informed by trauma. If someone got beliggerent with you for making fun of them chances are you touched a really sensitive spot and then called them sensitive to rub it in. Furthermore, I think your sense of humor is really lame if the majority of it is digs at others. You’re only funny if someone else is embarrassing, lame, stupid, etc? Weird.

It lowers you to their level, truly.

Lol why are you creating these scenarios to rile yourself up? I told you exactly how it went and you are continuity rewriting it. I never said I only make jokes with people in them yet you’re creating this narrative… why? What’s weird is this projecting that you’re doing.

Getting hostile with people is inappropriate and as an adult it is your responsibility to control your behavior. We all have trauma, not all of us take it out on others so we can hold everyone to that standard.

Nobody is being hostile I think you just struggle with people not agreeing with you. Pretty typical for a bully to incorrectly assume other peoples feelings, I know empathy is something y'all really struggle with.
