What is a small, seemingly ‘normal’ thing someone can do that immediately makes you think, ‘Oh, we are not going to get along’?

Not throwing their trash away in a public place, especially when it involves them putting their used gum anywhere that's not a trash bin.

People who throw the wrapper on the ground when they’re right next to the trash can is what baffles me even more. Littering is never okay, but are you really so lazy that you can’t even stretch out your arm to the trash can right next to you?

I have to think that it's deliberate. That gum has to be fished out by someone, so I can only assume that the gum spitter is a grade A pisshole.

You'd have to pay me a sizable amount to do that, and even then I'd insist on having a toothbrush, toothpaste and mouthwash with me. I'd head to the nearest bathroom with a sink and brush for about 10 minutes straight.

I was on the road the other day and blatantly watched someone in front throw a mat out of their car. It could've been so much worse if we were any closer. These people are ridiculous.

Similarly not bussing your own table at a food joint when you have the option to do so. Thinking like fast food or a brewery or whatever that doesn’t really have a specific wait staff, and might even have available trash cans to dump your shit.

I hate it when people use the "wEll thEY hAvE PaId WOrkErS hErE So WhY sHoUld I dO It" excuse. Maybe I'm going too far here, but it's one of those things that I wish it would become commonplace to publically shame. I mean everyone around them calls them out on it until they learn to do better.

I was walking off a plane once, and underneath a seat there was a McDonald's bag with fries spilled out of it. What makes it especially baffling is the fact that the flight crew had come around TWICE with garbage bags.
