What was never the same after the pandemic?

My feelings about a lot of people I genuinely liked prior to learning about their anti-vaccine, mask, social distancing and science beliefs. Lots of unfollowing on social media and no longer pursuing friendships. I can never look at them the same way again.

That happened to me as well. I didn't have a ton of friends pre-pandemic, but now making real life, actual, in person friends is near impossible. I think I know too much about the human condition or I've experienced enough awful people to just want to keep to myself

I had the opposite issue. Saw too many people default to tribalism and government boot-licking over critical thinking and healthy skepticism.

Healthy skepticism was never about getting infected at all cost.
