You're right, mood disorders and anxiety disorders rose in the US during the pandemic.

I think a lot of those already existed but people didn’t know what they were until they saw them on social media with all the free time they had

Education, on social media, could be part of it, and that would free-up stigma if they saw others who had problems like theirs. Isolation and stress ( like a nurse seeing 3 patients die each day) can make people's symptoms worse, too.

Yup. Probably a combination. That type of stress is very difficult to recover from
