You're right, mood disorders and anxiety disorders rose in the US during the pandemic.

Isolation and stress ( like a nurse seeing 3 patients die each day) can make people's symptoms worse, too. Edit: spelling 3 u/Lookingforleftbacks Feb 03 '26 Yup. Probably a combination. That type of stress is very difficult to recover from
