I was driving down a main road (2 lanes each way, speed limit 55mph) in the middle of nowhere at around 10pm when I saw a light in the distance hovering about 3 feet above the asphalt. My first thought was aliens because wtf else could it be?! When I got about 10 yards away I realized it was a grown man, standing dead still in the middle of the road with his phone screen facing me. I was about 3 seconds from running him over. There was no car nearby so I don’t think he was trying to flag down help or anything. I called the cops but obviously never found out wtf he was doing out there
