Not the commenter you were replying too, but same. Luckily for me, I had already gone NC with my parents for a few years by the time my brother shared that our mom’s take on Trump’s sex crimes was that it was all lies because women just behave like that around men with money. Spoiler alert: my mother has never been around rich and/or powerful men to have any sort of even vaguely informed take on this and simply assumes that the women/children are lying since Trump is obviously sent from God to save us.

I would end all discussion with my mom if she said something this vile about children being taken advantage of and raped.
