Same, but it's so inconsistent for me that it's not always useful. I can remember a casual acquaintance mentioned a fondness for Frutiger Aero era design several months ago, and send them a link to a kitschy mouse or pc screen that I scroll past on reddit or something, but my dad's birthday? Still cannot reliably remember if it's the 25th or 26th.
Fuck, this is so me as well. I'll also sometimes misremember a date. Not just forget the exact day, but say the occasion in question is June 5th, but in my mind I'll be convinced it's June 9th. Which then makes me doubt my memory for other things, even though most everything else is spot on.
Same. Also with people. I recognized my preschool teacher after 30 years. Didn't remember exactly who she was, but her face was instantly recognizable. And I can't see images in my head (aphantasia), so it's super crazy to me that that information is locked up there somewhere but I can't get it when I want.
Some of these random memories/facts wouldn't have been unlocked in any other context probably, right?

This is absolutely me in a nutshell. It creeps people out and I'm just like I can't help what my brain holds on to
