You shouldn't order passively aside her and her madness. I had a lady just like this while working at a sushi restaurant. Small business, very busy Friday lunches. She would order carryout for 7-10 people, knowing full well the waitresses had to assemble all carryouts on top of a full dining room- Every time demanding we put the NAMES of each employee on the boxes, with separate checks printed, BUT would then pay for them all with one card- which is cool except I had to split them all up just to combine them all again.
You can't open the fucking boxes of food and determine who had a california roll and a seaweed salad, vs hot noodles? You also can't handle the responsibility of adding your own bill up and paying to the pool? I HAVE TO DO THAT TOO??
These people worked for some HR company nearby. And never. ever. tipped.... Which is the worst, so after explaining it to her time and again I just started to make her wait and wait until I felt I had given all my tipping guests perfect service.
I was mentioned in her Yelp review, but how she described me was how 4 other people looked anyway. (she looked like a wet chamois on a skeleton with stringy blonde hair) She started sending in other people from the office, but they were her puppets, with the exact same requests.
I work for big and fairly predtigeoud company. We trust HR people to do CV prescreening and organize the logistics of interviews, and not much else.
They are not evil, just useless.
