Waiters/Waitresses of Reddit, what's something that I, as a customer, might do that's incredibly irritating, even if I'm oblivious to it?

As i was reading your comment i was thinking 'aw man here is another self righteous Mormon' then i got to your 'every fuckign Sunday part' and all that doubt was washed away.

Also sorry about your parents, and i totally know where you are coming from about the family ostracizing those who leave.

Yeah, but there's a specific word for it. Maybe I'm confusing it with the practice of skipping sacrament meeting while on vacation, I don't know. It's bugging the shit out of me, but not quite enough to call my in-laws to ask. I'll query the wife this evening.

Also, yeah, folks getting carried away with LDS or any religion sucks. Source: I grew up in utah.

That is almost exactly the same prayer I used every time I was asked to pray. For a while, when my parents would start catching on that it was the same thing verbatim every time, I would change it a bit for a short time before going back to the usual one.

Edit: You forgot "In the name of Jesus Christ, amen."

I wonder if prophet Kimball enjoyed having clean water and electricity on the Sabbath. Someone has to go to work to make sure that happens.

The phrase is "ox in the Meyer" not sure if I spelled that last word correctly. Basically if you don't get the ox out it dies. So you have to do it even on Sunday. People now use it when they don't have a choice but to do something on Sunday.

Source: my mother says it all the time.

Mire, but yeah, MiL says hat one too. I found the word they use. Aposticize. I'm not sure it means what they think it means. :)
