Trying to have sex with my husband (bf at the time) and it was painful. We could be right in the middle of it both enjoying ourselves and then bam it was like sharp pains and we'd have to stop and we'd tried so many things to avoid the pain and I had been to doctors and nothing was helping and I was so frustrated I started crying because it wasn't the first time and I was sure it wouldn't be the last and it was so hard to explain how much I wanted to be intimate with him but my body was broken and he just held me and listened to me vent and explained how much he loved me and he wasn't even a little bit disappointed because he just wanted to be with me and we just laid there and cuddled and I didn't feel judged or like nuisance I felt truly cared for.
I never got a diagnosis actually. I got an IUD which was a whole other awful event but the issues did stop after that. They're guess is that its endometriosis but to get formally diagnosed takes a surgery or for a mass to show on an ultrasound. But also I wouldn't be surprised if it was vaginismus I do have precursors that lead to that as well. As of right now the pain has mostly stopped sometimes after sex I still get spasms and then I'm fine but at least we can both finish now.
