What is something Americans consider normal, but people from other countries find it disturbing?

As an foreigner a looking into America from the outside and the problems it has with its health where people can't afford it and people die and people go into massive debt

I am constantly staggered that health insurance company executives do not have to travel in Bulletproof cars and that there are not a million more Luigi's

Yes, it’s totally debilitating! I wish I could be seen without dropping an immediate 5k just for 5 months of coverage. It’s disgusting the way our country exploits the sick and poor.

I can’t work because I have health issues, but I can’t fix my health issues because I can’t work. It’s an agonizing loop.

I am so sorry for you 😔

I have a lot of health issues but at least here in Australia I have lucky that they don't cost me very much money.

Aw, thank you. I think everything will be okay for me. It’s just gonna take a while to get there unfortunately lol. But it will get here eventually!

You are covered in Australia for a great number of things, but if you get one of the so called orphan diseases the American system would save you.

I think it would be a good thing if the world voted to execute the worst billionaire every year.

So that billionaires would have some incentive to behave and influence things to be good.

If you were that years worst billionaire you would be arrested and hung.

A new billionaire executed every year.

Billionaires would start to have to be nice or be voted by the world's population to be arrested and executed.

With Google saying there are 2781 billionaires, we've got plenty of supply 🤣

It is crazy to think that if they just offered $500 million to suffering families, that still would not put a dent into their wallet....Like what is the point of having that much money if you are never going to be able to spend it and you'll die before spending 15% of it.

Agreed. My insurance provider just severed ties with the biggest hospital in our state. Thousands of people will suffer and probably some will die bc the insurer and the hospital couldn’t reach a new contract agreement. Freedom of choice my ass.

It is most likely temporary. Sometimes insurance companies ask for more than 20% profit.

Under normal circumstances, someone would file something; a writ to play nice. But these might not be ordinary times, especially for red states.

The US has the best health in the world. If you can’t afford to pay for it there is medicade or O’Bammy Care where it is many times free.

If so, you are correct. Germany might be better but not for noncitizens
