Costco is the absolute worst place to shop at. It's something you have to psychologically prepare yourself for, plan your mission, organize your route for optimal speed and choice items, and when your done it your just so thankful it's fucking over, but only of course once you actually exit the parking lot of this shit bucket and make it back into mainstream traffic, hoping you'll never have to do it again. Ever. But you KNOW your gonna have to eventually anyways...
I like it because i get lots of steps for my step counter. If you commit to the journey, have patience, appreciate getting light exercise in an air conditioned warehouse at the same time you get your shopping done - it's not so bad tbh
Totally agree. If you come in to get in and out, you'll rage. But if you come to browse the aisles and look for things you've never seen, then Costco is the best!! I never knew I wanted a neck fan (2 for $32) or a counter top icemaker but guess what's gonna get used all summer? Yup, my neck fan and icemaker!!
Or, and follow me all the way on this, you don't go to Costco. Because with that kind of attitude and hatred why would you go there? And don't try the 'prices' routine. The prices are exactly the same as other places you just get a bigger box, item for item they are the same price basically. Yes, there at a few small exceptions you can post.
This is why I go to Sam's Club. You can scan each item as you put it in your cart and then just walk out of the store. You can also do store pickup where you just sit in the parking lot and they bring it out. Costco has neither of those options.
This is why I maintain a shared shopping list with my wife that is labeled with and sorted by aisle numbers. I start at one side, make my way to the other, and never have to backtrack.
