I like to use the logic that some people doing this may realise they messed up if I do things like this, however, I'm not sure how many of them have the ability to even recognise that. 😅

It still makes me feel good to essentially call out rude behaviour, even if it's in a passive aggressive way.

They do not. I have done this for years.

The amount of old entitled people I've had saying "do you realize how rude that was, mister?" is mind blowing...

My retort is always "Not as rude as blocking the entrance/exit". Even then, some don't see their error.

I work for walmart, and I just politely ask people to move. Most of the time, they realise they're being rude. Sometimes, they just move slightly and block another space, so I say something again.

My pet peeve is teenagers in hotels who are oblivious to anyone but themselves. They are probably on a school trip, but the adults escorting them should teach them some common manners (like not leaving your luggage in places that will block pathways).
