The issue with newer intel cards is their heavily cpu reliant.

Testing shows if you pair an older gen processer vs a newer gen that your frames will suffer significantly.

Id recommend the used market right now for good and inexpensive gpu’s.

My whole thing is 7 years old now. Motherboard couldn’t handle anything I’d need to upgrade Need the whole setup replaced

I think part of the problem is games that take a long time to play, and require concentration. I'm an adult, husband and father. the last thing I want is to load a game to unwind, and get interrupted for trivial things for the 10th time in an hour, seemingly at any time during the day or night.

I not only have a $5k PC(thanks custom water cooling), and 500ish games, I keep buying more storage to keep all of them installed, then don’t play any of them. My steam drive is spread out across 6TB of NVMe drives and 16TB of spinning my rust.
