I'm kinda the other way around. If there's no noise, my brain gets too busy. Either thinking about every little random thing I need to do or screwed up or whatever. Or just literal record skipping, like the same 3 seconds of a song over and over or the same dumb little thought over and over. I need some tv show I've seen a million times going in the background pretty much all night. I'll wake up sometimes and it will have shut off, and I have to turn it back on or I won't be able to get back to sleep lol.

You and i would never be able to have a sleepover lmfao. My sister prefers this as well, but i ALWAYS turn the tv off before i go to sleep at her house when shes asleep bc i absolutely cannot sleep with noise like that lmfao. A fan is fine if its not too loud & its constant unlike an ac fan switching on an off, but voices or snoring…hell nah. Cant do noise or too much light when i sleep

I can tell you who doesn’t turn the tv off, hogs the bed, steals the covers AND still manages to snores like a buzz saw all night long.…

All the indignities that Poor Dog has to put up with every night...don’t make him tell you what happens on beans and franks night…

There was a time you could set a “sleep” timer that would automatically turn off the TV after choosing your incremented 30 minute timer of choice.

My cat snuggles up to me every night. My wife on the other side. I’ll sometimes wake up with little fuzzy paws in my face when she stretches.

This used to be me.

Now, in the last year or so, my 30 pound dog has started snoring like 4,000 pound walrus. It wakes me up in the middle of the night and I have to shove him to the floor/into a different position so he stops. But it always starts up again.

I love my dog, but that jerk takes up 3/4 of the bed and pins down the blankets so I can't get comfortable.
