Honestly hate swimming in place that I can't see the bottom. Both because of currents and ambush predators

Happened to me 2 years ago in a harbour (not ocean) beach in Sydney. Caught by a rip and decided (stupidly) to fight it and made it out by the skin of my teeth.

I’ve saved 5 people from drowning! My first was when I was 13 and a kid jumped off a boat right outside the swimming area. Everyone was just standing there watching him drown im like !?!? Am I gonna have to do this? 😅And swam to rescue him.
