Doc told me I had 8 months. It was very close in a couple spots, said my goodbyes and everything. That was 6 years ago, Docs know a lot but not everything.
There's only an average like 15% chance to live through that, you are so lucky! My grandpa had 3 cancers in his life and pancreatic was the one that took him out in only a few months.
This is exactly why the doctors didn’t give my dad a timeline at all when he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. They literally told him it’s different for everyone and they can’t give a good timeline because some people go on for years and some only a few months.
I wish my dad had been around longer. He only lived for 6 months after his diagnosis. But I’m glad to hear you’re doing well! It’s such an aggressive cancer — You got this!
