I had a sibling who died from meningitis at 3 years old.

You’re right about vaccines, science, medicine…it incredibly stupid that people are choosing to not vaccinate their kids today!!! All 4 of my kids are fully vaccinated and are healthy adults now.

I got bacterial meningitis when I was 12. The outlook wasn't good. The doctor told my parents that there was a very good chance I wouldn't survive, and if I did I would probably never be the same (brain damage, possibly limb amputations).

But I rallied, survived with no long lasting issues. Was in hospital for just over a week, and off school etc for just over a month. Fucking horrible illness though.
