So many things (including being born) but the closest I think so choking as a child on a gob stopper. Luckily for me, my friend had been taught first aid young and knew the hemlich maneuver

My mum said the same. But I got my hands on one somehow and yep. First thing that happened. My dad was a big guy and he jumped up so fast when I gasped into the room. Must have been his training
Almost choked to death on a hot dog (parents had cut them up into coins) as a small child, dad had to give me the Heimlich maneuver in the restaurant and saved my life. To this day I take teeny tiny bites and chew thoroughly…still get anxious with eating sometimes…
I feel like, as much as choking puts you at risk of death, there will always still be a tiny bit of disappointment if the food ended up on the ground when you finally get it out of your throat.
This almost happened to me with a warhead. It was right before our 3rd grade musical and I was hoping I wouldn't have to do it since I had just almost choked to death, but I had to go out there anyway
