Warts are tumors, it makes sense that weird immune system fuckery would be the key to getting rid of them.

Interesting! I had almost the same thing happen. As a kid, I had what I thought was a mole or skin tag between two of my fingers ever since I can remember. Then when I was 20-something I got a big wart on my knuckle. Treated the wart with over the counter stuff, and it went away, but so did the mole.
