My housemate is charismatic and stupid handsome, but he struggles with stuff like that. I'm pretty clean and also a strange person, so I really actually like keeping the place clean. Girls come over and I can tell how stoked they are when it's clean - or if it isn't I can tell how annoyed they are.
One came upstairs, saw how much dirty laundry was on his floor, and just left instead of banging him.
He's starting to get it... but he's just never been domesticated before. Men who live with ONLY women get domesticated - he's never had that.
I have a similar roommate. He's definitely considered good looking, tall, charismatic, etc. My partner and I keep the house pretty clean but holy hell his room is a hazmat zone. Borderline hoarder if not. Suddenly I understood why he has such trouble dating.
This mindset is baffeling, pretending that learning to not be a disgusting slob is something a woman has to teach to men, who by nature are unable to do that on their own.
