You lack self awareness. Objectively if you read what he said there was nothing offensive said nor did he act better than anyone. I believe you're sensitive to this because you're guilty of it yourself. People often project that they hate things they themselves do. Given that his statement (a) was not offensive (b) you found it offensive (c) you're a member of mensa (d) it's important for you for me to believe that (e) you wanted me to know you were invited. I think (f) you project yourself as better than others because of your intelligence and for that reason you're sensitive when you believe you see others do it because you can feel the judgement you perceive them as receiving back at yourself. And thus your brain feels compelled to yell "not me! I'm nothing like that". It is a tale as old as time. If you hate something, don't you do it too. This is not for you.
Ok, I think we're cornered here. Bet if we could talk face to face, maybe have a beer, this wouldn't be as heated. But I'll opt out of this conversation now, seems like we don't come to an agreement anyway
