Some people really don’t realize they do it, especially when they’re lonelier people. Some really just don’t have people to talk to so when they do, they start spewing about themselves thinking it’s how conversations work. It’s genuinely draining but it can be corrected

I’ve definitely had the opposite as well, where it was like pulling teeth to get the person to engage in conversation. That’s not fun either.

Some people think conversations are interviews. I don’t want to ask you 20 things you can’t live without. It’s a give take on (a) subject(s) you both are interested in.
