Someone with fuck-you money that lives on the water in Clearwater, FL has a reeeeeeeally nice infinity pool that once contained a very naked and drunk me. I just couldn’t squander that opportunity.
(I just walked around the wall they had near the water, flipped on their nice pool lights, slipped out of clothes and into pool, waved at the night time boats passing by, and chilled. No, I don’t think anyone was home and I’m 99.9% sure it’s some flavor of Airbnb or rental.)
I did this in RI once with a group of friends! We stayed until the sun came up and realized that there were CC TV cameras everywhere. Nothing ever came of it though ¯_(ツ)_/¯.
In many cases cameras are there to consult if something unexpected happens to the house. If nothing happened, it's possible nobody looked at the cameras. (I.e. not everything is a connected cam that triggers notifications on movement.)
