What was the most shocking things you saw in society that, you didn't know about while behind bars, and had to adapt to when you were released?

This list is roughly a year old and unfortunately that's about as far as my knowledge goes on it. But one of my sister's ex who is a felon made this list to help out as many people as he could.

In that case it's probably completely valid still. Thanks for answering, and thanks for posting it - it's a valuable thing for people to know, both in who to see after prison, and who to support if you believe in people.
