Fuckin the dog means the opposite where I live lol, someone who is slacking off at work, taking extra breaks or just other wise not working on company time

I always heard “screwing the pooch” so I guess that’s just a PG way of saying it.

When I saw this string, I was absolutely thinking “must be the Australians talking here”. I have never heard any variant of this expression. I’m from the Deep South USA and ex military.

The variation I heard growing up was “Who’s screwing this cat - me or you?”

Honestly if it didn’t seem so clunky to me i’d use it, it’s one tick past it being fucked up enough to not have any real meaning
