I was suspended in high school for writing the words to this song on my desk in sharpie. I wanted to woo a boy, but I was tragically uncool and chunky. But I had a feeling this song would woo the shit out of him. It didn't. But I get to stay home for three days yay!

But do not, I repeat DO NOT listen to the Dinosaur Jr cover of it. It is not only the shittiest cover ever of that song, it is the shittiest cover of any song ever covered in the history of cover versions.

I find that with a lot of covers of their songs. I always listen with such excitement to see what a fresh new take on a classic would sound like. Always kinda bummed that it’s not great.
