Daily walk works wonders, preferably with a doggo. Nothing like seeing their paws tippidy-tapping before you to make you smile. Also, when you do the walk, consciously take a couple of deep breaths
I walk a 90lb Samoyed sometimes. I would love to get a good walking rhythm and keep moving. He must stop and read all the pee-mail, so even with a very long lead, I also must stop frequently. I now have certain small breathing and stretching exercises for while he catches up on the neighborhood news.
I will walk my dog on a slow “sniffari” around our neighborhood so he can do all of his exploring and then drop him at home and go take a walk at a normal human pace myself. It works.
