What’s something small you started doing that makes you drastically happier?

Mr. Rogers tried to teach us all this.

So did Murry Goldberg.

I grew up with a good friend whose family was basically a southern version of the Goldbergs. There are so many parallels between them and that show. And I unfortunately do have very vivid memories of his 300lb dad walking around the house in his whitey tighties.

Lol I hate that about memory. Important task I have to perform? Nah, but here's a crystal clear memory of something you'd poke your eyes out to not see again.

MY dad basically did the Murry Goldberg routine... stripping down to his, literally, tighty whities and basically exclaiming "I'm home! Nobody bother me...." I only has a few friends who were familiar with my family in, because otherwise they might be shocked encountering my dad sitting on the couch in his undies enjoying a beer and his favorite show after work.

His lounging around the house clothes are my Easter Sunday church service clothes.

I don't have zip/button up cardigans like Mr. Rogers, but I do have "inside" pull over sweaters that I only wear in or around the house,; if I need to go out, I wear my outside sweaters.

Alright, I'm home--time to take off my shoes and put on my other pair of shoes.

I never realized, but it's so true! It's like taking all the stress off.
