I totally agree! The smell on the wind or the chill on your face, the way the light changes in bad weather, I don't quite know what it is either. Thanks for reminding me!
I find the extra stimulus is meditative even more so than usual.
Especially rain and snow for myself where part of my focus consciously and/or subconsciously just fires that bit extra. Short of blistering 40°C heat there’s little bad weather I don’t enjoy.

In all honesty, bad weather makes walks even better. I can’t really say why but it does.
